How much this cost ? In Australia

  • William Wallace

Yes the Angel Juicer naturally tips over when juicing!

Hi, usually the operator learns how to juice and hold the machine down with their elbow, when necessary.  You do not need much pressure to stop the tipping.  It annoys some people, yet many others do not care and are just really happy with the high quality juice and high extraction rate.

  • PlantsAsMedicine

This angel  juicer backs up a lot, the funnel is always full of juice and you have to wait ages for it to drain out  (that's why the video is edited @ 1:08, it takes twice as long as my other  slow masticating juicer that cost only $160,. overpriced junk In my experienced opinion.

  • Mark Vidales

I am looking at a Norwalk, someone posted on a video for Norwalk about this juicer, looks good but do you really get the max juice from your produce?

  • dennis guerrerio

I've owned the Angel 5500 Juicer for 3 years now and I can definitely say that it is well worth the money.  It truly is the best juicer out there.  Today, for example, I juiced 4 carrots, 1 miniature cucumber, 3 stalks of celery, 3 kale leaves and a pinch of ginger.  I got a yield of 20 ounces of juice with a super dry pulp weight of 3.1 ounces.   You can even feed the pulp back into the machine if you really want to extract every morsel from the produce.   And no, I am not getting paid to endorse this juicer.

  • quality333

William i am thinking of buying angel juicer   is it worth the money?  Is the taste of juice superior as compared to lets say a Breville? Do you get more juice and less pulp compared to a breville or cheaper juicers on the market?

  • Danny Keston

In my opinion this is by far the best juicer out there. Once you get use to it, it is actually very easy to clean and fast, i did a side by side test with an omega 8006 which is also a great juicer. i used apple and carrot and the angel produced around 25% more juice. I have owned the Angel for 3 years and use it most days. i have noticed it getting a little brown inside the screen and some of the holes are starting get blocked.. Does anybody know the best way to clean the brown coating that seems to be building up very slowly?

this answer seems like a lame excuse. If there is no need to hold the machine why is he doing it EVERYtime? maybe you are right but if you need a PUSHer to press a carrot inside you shift the balance point outside the area of the support base. If the machine doesn't tip over in this case it is quite heavy. It's simply physics. sorry your arguments don't sound plausible to me.

  • William Wallace

Make vegetarian patties , feed the chooks etc.

  • harddazeknight

NOT so! It's not a matter of "must hold the machine with the other hand to avoid tipping over"… at no time do you see the machine rock forward, or even move. He's right handed so he's resting his left hand, lightly, on the machine while using the pusher with the right. He has to do something with the left hand–would you prefer he put it in his pocket… or just pick his nose? I make 8-9 lbs of juice daily (semi-commercially)… the Super Angel is AWESOME!

  • William Wallace

Yes that is correct. JUICERS AUSTRALIA has brought this design flaw to the attention of the manufacturer on several occasions, however, as sales are really high, they are simply not interested at this stage.

On a positive note, the juice is still worth the effort.

  • MrsCempedak

Failed design= I don't like it: each time the presentator puts something into it he must hold the machine with the other hand to avoid tipping over. At this price I don't expect only a perfect juicing quality but also a well elaborated very functional design. Just think of women holding a little child on one of her arms, you can't answer your phone and also it slows down the use: instead of holding the machine you could pick the next piece.

  • William Wallace

Yes very much so. The Angel is great at juicing leafy greens, and the juice is really rich and healthy.

  • Andrew Jackson

Have you juiced leafy greens & Kale? Still like it?

  • Kasia P

I've got it and I love it.

  • William Wallace

The History Chart on juicersaustralia, Angel Juicer page, shows the differences between the models. They are only slight, and all juice identical to each other.

  • William Wallace

    Yes indeed.

  • thinkagain777

wil this juicer juice parsley, nettle, burdock, watercress, and purslane?

  • William Wallace

Juice extractors are for people who want to extract the juice so that they can drink just the juice.

Some people want the juice and the pulp together, so there are two main ways to achieve this:

    1) blend the produce with a blender
    2) or simply eat the produce whole.

With the left over pulp from juice extractors, you can:

    1) use in recipes to make patties
    2) give to your chickens who will love you for it.

    Enjoy!

  • MrSmackdab

Seems such a shame to discard the pulp. Is there anything you can do with it? It is edible after all –

  • gcbzzzz

How do you clean it? … ah ok, finally saw the begining of the video 🙂 introductions made me jump forward and i lost the assembly before.

  • gcbzzzz

    How do you clean it?

  • William Wallace

    Yes it is 80 RPM.

  • Steve Haukdahl

Is it low rpm like the Omega VRT juicers?

  • fred dick

I will have to look into this one more, it looks nicely built (I can't stand plastic!) I was considering a Norwalk, I want will get me the most nutrients, the least oxidation, and dry pulp. I have been juicing for years now using a cheap blender and metal strainer, now that my dad is sick I want to start making better quality juice and more of it too. Price is not a huge factor because I know I will juicing my whole life, it's the best investment for your health and for your families health too!

What are the differences between AG 5500, AG 7500 & AG8500?
In Japan, We can get only AG 7500 from ANGEL JUICER retailer.
If AG 8500 is much superior than 7500 about extracting juice or about their function,
I'd like to get better one.
    Can I get any advice?

  • William Wallace

Yes the Angel Juicer/s do look really great; and they sound / operate really well too (quiet, high precision).

  • William Wallace

Some people have hyper-allergenic issues, and prefer stainless steel. It is good that customers can choose what suits their particular needs.

The manufacturer gives 5 years, which is the maximum allowed by law in Korea for a kitchen appliance. Yes some marketers offer 15, 25, 50, 100 year warranties to entice customers, but they are usually meaningless sales pitches by slick sales people.

  • collington22

The most beautiful juicer in the wolrd.

  • hanounours

is it safer to have a 100% stainless steel juicer? Angel vs Kempo…
I have chek juiceraustralia and noted that the juicer have a 5 years warranty, for the price I find it's expensive.
Do you intend to extend the warranty in the future?
Why 5 years in comparison to the 15 years of the Omega?
I was interested by the Omega because it can do sweet nut butters and has a long warranty but today I watched your vids.
If your juicers wer 15 years warranty I would definitly choose them!
    Thanks.

  • William Wallace

Korea has been big on cold press juicers for many years, thus many cold press juicers are made there.

  • Mark Gailmor

Of course not. Only the Norwalk, which costs a fortune, is Made in the USA. This is a great juicer though. Omega and Angel Juicers are all Made in Korea.

  • Yodaismycopilot

Looks like the greens were self feeding. Nice perk.

  • William Wallace

    Korea

  • woebetideme

    Are they made in USA?

  • Keysforge

rawfoods (youtube user) from discountjuicers he posted a unfair paint in black review of the Angel becasue he sale plastic Omega juicers and he never approved my posts in his videos.
The Angel 5500 is built like a tank and with proper use and care you dont need replacement pieces and stupid sellers try to brainwash saying "for a little more of juice pay $1000" that is stupid because the Angel 5500 extract more juice AND NUTRIENTS making your juice more rich in minerals, vitamins and enzymes.

  • Mark Gailmor

There's a screen you have to order for soft fruits that is sold by the vendor that you purchased your super angel machine from. That should solve your problem.

  • SonofGod82

Your complaints are pretty irrelevant. Just hold the back side of the juicer down while juicing and it wont tip. The reason you have to add the greens one at a time is because its a compression system not a centrifugal system and therefore can get jammed much easier if you add too much at one time. You are paying for the quality of the juice that it produces. Stop being a negative nancy about everything. I love my Super Angel. If it bothers you that much then you are in it for the wrong reasons.

JA responds: If you turn the machine on and watch it running for several hours without putting food in it, maybe it might rub off a tiny particle of stainless steel. However this is not an issue because if you are not juicing anything, you will not be drinking anything.

The machine is designed to juice produce. When juicing, the produce separates the well designed gears. In normal use they do not put stainless steel shavings into the juice, period!

  • Just1Perspective

@juicersoz HATE TO BE A PEST BUT JUST READ A REVIEW ON AMAZON…SOME CUSTOMERS SAID THE GEARS GRIND AGAINST EACH OTHER AND PUT METAL SHAVINGS IN THE JUICE? DO THE GEARS TOUCH DURING USE?

  • William Wallace

JA responds: Yes the 5500 is just fine.

  • Just1Perspective

@juicersoz TRUE. I AM IN SOMEWHAT OF A CRUNCH HEALTH WISE SO I NEED ONE RIGHT AWAY. I GUESS I'LL HAVE TO SUCK IT UP AND BUY THE ANGEL…THEN IF IT STILL OFFENDS ME BUY THE ONE THAT FIXES THIS FLAW WHEN IT'S AVAILABLE…I DON'T THINK I'M TALENTED ENOUGH TO HOLD IT WHILE I FILL IT BUT WE'LL SEE LOL. WHICH MODEL DO YOU RECOMMEND?…THE 5500?

  • William Wallace

JA responds: Although it is a small flaw in the scheme of things, it really is so easy to fix, which would make so many people very happy. The extension of the front feet will be done, either by Angel or a rival company with a new stainless steel juicer.

  • Just1Perspective

@juicersoz THE OMEGA 350 IS ALSO A SLOW SPEED COLD PRESS JUICER AT A SPEED OF 84 RPM, SO IT CAN BE DONE. I THINK THE COMPANY NEEDS TO RECONSIDER CORRECTING THIS FLAWS, I THINK THEY WOULD BE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED AT HOW MANY PEOPLE WHO OWN AN ANGEL WOULD BUY ANOTHER AND HOW MANY OF US ON THE FENCE WOULD PURCHASE AS WELL. THANKS FOR YOUR VIDEO.
